Welcome to the Hawes Gala website. From here you will find information about Hawes & District Gala Day.

A big thank you to all those who helped make the 2008 a success. The weather was not as kind as it might have been but fun and games were had by all.

Planning is now under way for the 2009 gala. In 2009 Gala Day will be  Saturday 27th June 2009 and as customary the parade through the town will start around mid– day. The fancy dress parade will pass along Main Street before turning up towards Gayle and finally onto the Gala Field next to  Wensleydale Creamery.

The committee are currently working on plans and attractions for the 2009 Gala Day and welcome any suggestions and  assistance.  Click here to check the meeting dates for 2009
